Liquid-liquid extraction tower

Liquid-liquid extraction, also called solvent extraction, is an indirect and sometimes direct separation process in which the components of a liquid solution are separated by contact with another insoluble liquid. The basis of separation in liquid-liquid extraction is the difference in chemical properties. This device consists of a boiler and a column filled with acne, a glass condenser, feed tanks, solvent, residual phase and extracted phase, and a distillation column.
