Tray distillation tower machine

In this device, the reboiler is equipped with temperature measurement sensors, water gauge, heater with variable power, pressure gauge, feed inlet and drain valve. The column contains 8 trays, each of which has its own sampling valve; Therefore, samples can be taken from any tray. Also, a temperature sensor is installed for each individual tray to measure the test conditions. Mass transfer between liquid and gas phase is done on trays.
The steam passes through the mentioned parts and enters a steel condenser. The cooling water also enters the condenser after passing through a rotameter to adjust its flow rate. In order to increase the contact time in the condenser and increase the efficiency, the water is entered from the bottom and then exits after an upward path.
A product collection container is placed in the lower part of the condenser. By installing a two-way valve under the condenser, different operations can be performed in the system. One of the exit routes from the valve enters the product into the corresponding container. This container is located on the right side of the machine, for sampling the product, a valve is installed in its lower part. There are keys in different parts of the control panel that can be used to see the temperature of different parts of the system according to the need. A software has been designed for this device, which can be used to take data at any desired moment and save the test data easily as an Excel file.
