Testing device for thin wall cylinders

The purpose of this experiment is to test a thin-walled cylinder and obtain Poisson’s ratio and modulus of elasticity.
Thin wall cylinders are widely used in industry. Pressure tanks that are used to store fluids (gases and liquids) are part of this category of cylinders.
An aluminum cylinder with a diameter of 80 mm and a thickness of 3 mm, which is filled with hydraulic oil, is connected to a screw pump by hoses and fittings. To increase the oil pressure, you must turn the pump handle clockwise and vice versa. A needle gauge shows the oil pressure.
