In the Spray Dryer, as the name suggests, the wet solid or liquid containing particles are turned into particles by a nozzle known as an atomizer and move downwards. Hot air also flows in the main chamber of the dryer, and while the drop is falling, it is dried and the particles settle under the effect of hot air convection. But some of the solid particles remain with the hot air, which is why the hot air is directed from the main chamber to a cyclone to separate the remaining solid particles from the hot air.
The wet solid or liquid containing particles is pumped to the nozzle by a peristaltic pump with an adjustable flow rate. The operating time of the nozzle can be adjusted by a timer, as well as the temperature of the hot air entering the chamber. The inlet air temperature of the chamber and the inlet air temperature of the cyclone are measured by the temperature sensor and displayed digitally.
