Plate heat exchanger

The purpose of this experiment is to calculate the amount of transferred heat, the logarithmic temperature and the overall heat transfer coefficient, to compare parallel flow and non-parallel flow in a heat exchanger and to investigate the relationship between Nusselt number, Reynolds number and Prantel number. >
Plate heat exchanger is made of profiled plates with water flow between their spaces. The plates are welded to each other in such a way that two separate flow channels are formed, one flow channel is “cold” and the next is “hot” and they are placed periodically. Hot and cold water flow continuously and part of the thermal energy of hot water is transferred to cold water.
