Loss measurement device in piping system

Head drop of piping system
The overall head drop of a piping system is divided into two parts. The first part is the main head drop (friction) that occurs due to the flow of fluid in the pipe. In addition, flow in a piping system may pass through a variety of fittings, elbows, or rapid changes in flow cross-section. As a result, additional head drops occur, one of the main reasons of which is the local separation of the flow.
These drops are called secondary drops. With the loss testing device in the piping system, it is possible to determine the amount of energy loss caused by the components of a piping system (such as elbow, valve, etc.) and the relationship between energy loss and speed.
