cooling tower

The cooling tower device is for cooling water by atmospheric air. The device has a tank from which the water needed by the device is supplied. By using a pump, water is pumped from the tank and it is showered into the tower after passing through the rotameter, which is used to adjust the flow of water in the upper part of the tower. Air is blown into the tower by a blower located at the bottom of the cooling tower. The air enters the tower by passing through the hygrometer and measuring the wet and dry temperature from the bottom and is placed in the vicinity of the water and leaves the tower after measuring the dry and wet temperature. To measure the flow rate and air speed at the exit of the tower, a fluid velocity meter (anemometer) is used.
To cool the water, we first bring it to the required temperature by the thermal element in the water tank, and upon entering the tower, it is exposed to the ambient air so that it loses its heat. The temperatures of different parts of the system are displayed through the software and the power of the heater in the water tank and the humidity at the top and bottom of the tower are digitally displayed.
